The museum was founded with the goal of being the presentation institution that encourages local people to develop awareness of the value of the shipbuilding and cultural heritage, represents local tradition, be an educational center, organizes workshops through which to engage new generations of wooden shipbuilding, rich touristic offer of Murter and becomes information center of the local cultural heritage.
