Šibenik

Šibenik Šibenik, the oldest native Croatian town on the Adriatic coast is situated in the most protected natural harbour in the middle of the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea, ancient Mare Adriaticum, at the mouth of river Krka, on the sources of rich Croatian history, probably at the place where some of the first Croatian settlers laid eyes on the blue sea, moody and beautiful, which had for centuries protected and sheltered, fed and guarded them. Today Šibenik with its 47,274 inhabitants (2011) is the capital and cultural, educational, administrative and economic centre of the Šibenik-Knin county .

Vodice

VodiceVodice is a tourist destination known for its vivacity, diversity, tourism and hospitality. It is located on the coast, in a wide bay, 11 km northwest of Šibenik- centre of the county. Vodice has 10,000 inhabitants and it is an attractive tourist destination. Vodice is not only a modern tourist resort, but it is proud of its tradition and heritage.

Jezera

JezeraJezera is situated on the southeastern side of the island of Murter. It is indented in a bay, in the shape of a horseshoe, a bay that is surrounded by small hills.

Because of its position, it is not exposed to strong gusts of winds, hence the bay is ideal as a dock for boats. The settlement has 960 inhabitants.

Murter

MurterMurter is the largest settlement on the island, giving it the name. It has the largest number of islands in its archipelago (over 170), with a large number of sandy beaches along its coastline and numerous interesting destinations in its neighborhood.

During the summer in Murter you can attend concerts of classical and popular music, and witness a particularly impressive feature - the local church singing.

Tisno

TisnoLocated partly on the island of Murter and partly on land that separates the narrow strait only 38 meters wide, Tisno is the youngest settlement on the island. It is connected by a drawbridge that is during the summer months lifted twice a day.

Pirovac

PirovacIs a lively, very nice place with many natural endowments. The hands of few inhabitants of the past centuries, decorated it with historic monuments of eternal value. It is located in the western part of the Šibenik-Knin county.
